Sara Hansen Gorkiewicz

Sara H. Gorkiewicz passed in her sleep at her home in Jacksonville, FL during the early morning hours of Sunday July 16,2017. Sara was born in Brigham City Utah on September 7 1960 to Milton and Patricia Hansen. Later moving to Central/Southern California

Sara chose a career in Nursing, starting as a candy striper at 14 years old. She later continued her education in the nursing field. She finished her career in 2011 after spending 16 years at Fleet Landing, Atlantic Beach. Such a kind caring person to all the lives she touched.

She was such a wonderful Wife to her husband Mark who she showed her love daily. A loving wonderful Mother and best friend to her three daughters, Jennifer, Lindsay Nicole (Jason) and Jessica Lynn. Sara had many passions in life; her greatest was her love for horses and riding. She enjoyed backpacking and hiking as well. Her passions were cut short due to severe nerve damage in her legs, which she worked hard to cope with and overcome.

Sara's surviving Family members consist of her 2 her Sisters Janet and Laura and 2 brothers Charlie and Robert, and many Nieces and Nephew's

She will be truly missed by all the lives she touched.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. in Beaches Chapel by Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home.
