Shawn worked for DCI for the last two years. He had a passion for motorcycles and was a member of Iron Clad Motorcycle Club. He was an avid Jacksonville Jaguars and baseball fan, loved to laugh and spend time with his son.
Preceded in death by his sister, Samantha Spanopoulos, he is survived by his wife, Lauren; sons, Aiden Lee and Shawn Weston Spanopoulos; mother, Elizabeth Quinones; father, Stephen Spanopoulos (Shelly); in-laws, Don & Debbie Lowery; step-son, Jayden Lowery; and many beloved friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach. Funeral services will be held at the church on Saturday at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. For those who prefer, donations may be made to hyperopic cardiomyopathy research in memory of Shawn’s sister, Samantha.
