

Thomas Marvin McEntee passed away on June 5, 2025. He was a long-time resident of Atlantic Beach, where he loved the quiet rhythms of beach life, his close-knit community, and the simplicity it offered. A Yankee by birth and a Southerner by choice, Tom carried the best of both worlds in his spirit. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Born in Batavia, New York, Tom lived a life marked by humility, laughter, and enduring kindness.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Elaine McEntee. He was predeceased by his parents, Marvin and Sofie McEntee. He is also survived by sisters: Mary Ann Gomoka (John), Barbara McEntee, Judi Hicks (Lee), and Roxanne Gilfus (Joe), along with nieces and nephews: Mark Barta, Gretchen Eddy, Christie Rogers, Erin Tibbles, Leslie Rosenbaum, and Eric Gilfus. He was a supportive stepfather to Robert Fulford (Christie), and Candice Davis and affectionately known as “Grandpa Tom” to five grandchildren—Cameron Davis, Kaley Fulford, Laura Fulford, Brian Fulford, and Colin Davis.
In accordance with Tom’s wishes, no formal services will be held. The family kindly invites memorial donations to one of the following Alzheimer’s organizations:
• Cure Alzheimer’s Fund – 100% of your donation goes directly to Alzheimer’s
