She was born in Syracuse New York on October 03, 1928 She was married to Dr. Charles Bender Jr. for 62 years. They moved to Jacksonville in 1968. Wanda had a passion for her family and loving others well. She served on the Beaches Hospital Auxiliary, as well as numerous room mother and Band parent positions for her children. She was always available and supported many after school activities.
She is survived by her Children, Vivian M. Bender-Walker (Kent), Charles E. Bender III (Beth), and James M. Bender (Susan);
Grandchildren, Jake Bender, Cole Bender, Anastasia McGriff (Kyle) , and Leeza Walker. Siblings Michael Church, and Linda Church
