
William G. Noe, Jr., 65, died on Nov. 28, 2011, after a brief illness at Beaches Baptist Hospital with his family at his side. Bill was born on Oct. 3, 1946, and was a life-long resident of Neptune Beach and a practicing attorney at the beaches for almost 40 years. He was predeceased by his parents Greg and Dorothy Noe and his niece Jennifer Maurisak.
Bill is survived by Marcia, his wife of 40 years, his children Billy and Katie, and two grandsons, Jace and Bentley. He is also survived by his sister Louise Peaks (Bill), his niece Beth DuMond, and his nephews Alex and Matt Peaks. Bill loved the beach and served as a Red Cross lifeguard during high school and was credited with saving the lives of several swimmers. He graduated from Fletcher High School in 1964, from the University of Florida in 1968, and from UF Law School in 1971. He served in the US Army Reserves as a 2nd LT. Bill was a former member of the Jacksonville Beaches Kiwanis Club and had been a past king of the Beaches Royal Order of Beefeaters. Bill will be remembered for his unwavering love, dedication, and loyalty to his family, his love of a good joke, his love for his dogs, and his encyclopedic knowledge of real estate law. A funeral mass and celebration of Bill's life will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 435, 1st Ave. N, Jacksonville Beach.
Arrangements for the services are pending and will be announced later. At his request, he will be cremated, followed by burial-at-sea.
