Annie Laurie Kurlin

Kurlin, Annie Laurie (Mother)-age 86, passed on Sunday July 10, 2022 at Home in St. Johns , Florida with her daughter Cindy by her side. She is preceded in death by her stepfather, Vernon Z. House, mother, Annie T. House, spouse, Doyle Kurlin Sr. and son, Shawn “Tony” Fleming. Annie is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Ann Helmey, and husband Timothy, Brother, Charlie Thompson and wife Deloris; grandchildren, Laurie Ann Harvey and husband Robert, and Carey Louise Wynne; great grandchildren, Corey James VonEsche, Charley Jean Wynne, Jared Ryan Harvey and wife Arissa, Gene “Bubba” Wynne, and great- great grandchildren, Collins Wynne and Jared Ryan Harvey II.

Annie, who we all called Mother, was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. Anyone that knew her was blessed. She worked for many years as a waitress at Famous Amos and loved her job. She was hard working and didn’t give up. She was fun, wise and the best grandmother anyone could have. She might have been small in stature but, had the biggest heart of anyone we could ever know. She would help anyone in need and would always take care of the sick. She loved her family so much and was pure in heart. She was a jewel that is rare and hard to find and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace in the arms of our Jesus who is our creator, our God, and our Everlasting father until we meet again on the other side. We love you Mother with all our hearts!

A visitation for Annie will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225. A committal service will occur Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 12:15 PM in Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225.
