Aveya Shanae Simcik

On July 11, 2024 @ 3:42pm, Aveya Shanae Simcik was carried to Heaven in Jesus' arms. Aveya was surrounded by Daddy, Mommy, her 3 sisters Kyah, Avaelyn and Kori, as well as her twin brother Avery and other close family members who will forever hold her in our hearts. Aveya was 3 months and 23 days old. She was born in Jacksonville, FL. to Kyrell Simcik and Shanice Acacia.

While we may never know why God's plan works the way it does, we know that we had a brief time with Aveya on this earth sharing her many smiles, her love of "Bluey" and her special connection with twin brother Avery. Aveya has given the gift of life to multiple infants her age through organ donation on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Aveya, we know you will forever live in our hearts and souls and your heart will now beat for another child. Smile and rest in Jesus' arms until we see you again one day, Babygirl.

Aveya is survived by her Daddy, Kyrell Simcik, her Mommy, Shanice Acacia, her sisters, Kyah Simcik, Avaelyn Simcik, Kori Simcik, and her twin brother Avery Simcik; Also, her grandmother (“GG”), Shannon Johnson, granddaddy, Damian Johnson, Great Grammy, Judith Simcik, grandmother Jaqueline Sims, granddaddy Dana Young, grandmother Kelli Spivey; Aunties Mayah Young, Damia Johnson (“TiTi”), Aesha Johnson, Sequoia Acacia, Carmen Acacia, Schade Acacia, Whitney Acacia; uncle, Jashawn Johnson [Jiyoung] and cousin Jayah Johnson. She is also survived by a long list of other loving family members and close family friends. Please respect the family’s privacy during this time.

Aveya’s funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at The Restoration @ Life Changing Ministries, 1656 Edgewood Ave W. Jacksonville, FL 32208. Private family viewing will be at 10am (by personal family invitation only), and services will begin at 11am. Burial will be immediately following the funeral at Hardage - Giddens Chapel Hills Cemetery at 850 St. John’s Bluff Rd N. Jacksonville, Fl 32225.

A visitation for Aveya will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Restoration at Life Changing Ministries, 1656 Edgewood Ave W, Jacksonville, FL 32208. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1656 Edgewood Ave W, Jacksonville, FL 32208. A committal service will occur Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, St Johns Bluff Rd N, Jacksonville, FL 32225.
