Berlia had a deep love of Jesus Christ. She was a very kind and caring woman. She enjoyed spending time with her family while going on vacations to the mountains and Pennsylvania. Berlia was a toll collector on the Mathews Bridge for twelve years before she retired.
Berlia was married to James E. Blevins for 52 years before he passed away in 2006. She is survived by a sister, Neva Wilkins, and a brother, Lester Brooks and her three daughters, Berlia Regester, Nancy Melvin, and Donna Lankry. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She will always be in our hearts.
