Mrs. Betty Joanne Long Hartnett

She moved to Jacksonville in 2013 from Maitland, FL where she lived for 46 years.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband John E. (Jack) Hartnett, Sr.

She is survived by one son, Jack Hartnett of Houston, TX and three daughters, Betsy Hartnett and Barbara Matzen (Russ) both of Jacksonville, FL and Peggy Zurakowski (Paul) of Loudon, TN. She also leaves three grandchildren, Tori Young, Stephen Matzen and Katie Matzen and two great-grandchildren, Gabi Young and Parker Young all of Jacksonville, FL.

Betty will be interred next to her husband at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park, FL during a brief ceremony at 9;30 am on Saturday, August 12, 2017.

Donations may be made to the Morning Star School for special needs students in Orlando, FL.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home.
