Brandon A. Roberts, 88 of Jacksonville passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013. Brandon is preceded by his loving wife Jeanette Roberts, parents; Jennie Mae and James Leo Roberts and sister, Fredda Louise Roberts Brewer. He is survived by his brother Robert Roberts (Betty J.) and numerous nieces and nephews. Brandon proudly served in the United States Navy in WWII and was in the first round of the Landing on Normandy. He retired from the Navy and was a member of the local WFW and Fleet Reserve of Jacksonville. Brandon will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jax., FL. 32205. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 9:00 am. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park. Reverend Gill Witcher officiating.
