

Born in New Bern, NC, Carolyn was the beloved wife of Thomas Wesley Hopper for 62 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents Morris Parker, Sr and Flora Parker, her daughter Karen Ott, and her brother Morris Parker, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Ellen Larson (Tony), grandchildren Robert Larson and Bethany Larson, and great-granddaughter Anasia Curry.
Carolyn attended Oglethorpe University. She was a devoted member of Hodges Blvd Presbyterian Church, Carolyn served as a Deacon and found joy in discipleship groups and lay ministry. She cherished visits to Sanibel Island, enjoyed cruises, loved reading, and was an avid fan of British historical shows.
Carolyn will be remembered for her warmth, faith, and the lasting impact she made on her family and community.
Memorial gifts may be directed to Hodges Boulevard Presbyterian Church or Community Hospice.
A visitation will be held on January 28, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, located at 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL, 32225, United States.
The funeral service will follow at the same location starting at 11:00 am. Presiding Minister will be Rev. Jonathan Swanson.
A committal service will take place following the funeral at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL, 32225, United States.
