

Charles Michael Lasater, age 67, of Fleming Island, Florida passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021. Charles was born September 1, 1954 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Forrest Wendell Lasater and Billie Willis Lasater.
Charles, "Mike" to his family, was a loving son, father, husband, brother, uncle and friend. He graduated from Paxon High School in 1972 and enjoyed a 42 year career at Metal Container as BE-Chief.
He was a very active member of the Christ Church Jacksonville Anglican and served on the Leadership Council and as a greeter. Mike was always generous with his time and loved helping others. He was always in the middle of a project, usually that benefited a neighbor, friend or family member.
Mike married Pam on June 25, 2018. He was an avid cyclist, enjoyed boating and gardening. He was a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing him and will be deeply missed by many.
He was predeceased by his father Forrest Wendell Lasater, brother Robert Wendell Lasater and grandson Seth Hayden Lasater.
Charles is survived by wife Pam S Gould; mother Billie Willis Lasater; sons Forrest Lasater (Brooke), Charlie Bell (Brandi), Owen Berry (Audrey), Luke and Augie Gould; sister Lisa Lasater (Linda); grandson Chase Lasater; granddaughter Shelby Nugent; nephew Charles Lasater (Pamela); nieces Summer Warnock and Taylor Lasater (Dalton); great nieces Carolyn, Jordy, Madelyn and Libby Lasater; great nephew Trent O'Neal and his beloved dog Barkley.
A visitation for Charles will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Christ Church Jacksonville Anglican, 9917 103rd St, Jacksonville, FL 32244. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Christ Church Jacksonville Anglican, 9917 103rd St, Jacksonville, FL. Family and friends that are unable to attend in-person can watch the live stream on Christ Church Jacksonville Anglican facebook page. Our family extends an invitation for friends and family to join us at Mike and Pam's house following Thursday's service.
