

Charles A. Mulder Jr., (CJ) 35, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. He lost his 10 month fight with Melanoma. He was born October 17, 1978 to Charles and Mae Mulder in Wiesbaden, Germany. He graduated from Edward H. White High School in 1996. He went into the United States Air Force shortly after turning 18 where he worked on F-16’s and had a tour of duty in both Saudi Arabia and Kuwait during Desert Shield where he earned the nickname “Pod God” for his knowledge of the different pods attached to the F-16. C.J. loved to work on Subarus, there are many of them driving around that have his sweat on them. His Sedona Red Pearl ’03 WRX is well known among the Subaru Community. He worked at the BJ’s and Grainger Warehouses, for a while at the same time, where he made many of his friends.
C.J is survived by his parents, Charles and Mae Mulder, CJ’s former wife and mother of his child Bonnie Reed Mulder, one son Noah Aidan Mulder, and one brother Thomas Mulder. Additional family members include his Uncle Leonard (Terry), Aunts Janice Shook, Linda Pratt (Tim), Alice Mulder, Nancy Fahs (Lonnie), Ruth Gettan (Arnie), Edith LeBeau (Dennis), and Ellen Madore, Great Uncle Clifford Vander Yacht and numerous cousins and many friends. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 6:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 10:00am with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
