Clarence H. Nolan, 69, passed away on March 8, 2012. Clarence was a native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida. He had worked for Five Lines and Crowley Transportation as a driver. Clarence is preceded by his parents, brothers; Ivey Nolan, James Nolan, and Carl Nolan, sisters, Elma and Dessie. Clarence is survived by his loving partner of 14 years Joan Nolan, daughter, Kelly (Rocky), grandsons, Wyatt and Grayson, and numerous nieces and nephews, brother, Bill Nolan, Harold Nolan, sister, Marie Brogi (Bob) of Oak Harbor, Washington. Clarence proudly served the United States Army. He was a former guitar player of the Rebel Bluegrass Band and had played with Alison Krauss and All the Blue Grass Players. Clarence will be remembered for his determining spirit and love of his family, music, and fishing. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jax., FL 32205. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 4-6 pm. Graveside service will be held 11 am on March 12, 2012 at Seller’s Cemetery locate at 485 Halsema Rd., Jax., FL 32220. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Joan Nolan.
