

Clarice Wanelle “Wendy” Law, age 78, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2017 in Jacksonville after a brief illness. Clarice was born on December 11, 1938 in Palatka, Florida. She was a former member of Lakeshore Baptist Church and was a current member of Reedy Branch Baptist Church in Broxton, Georgia. She enjoyed spending time in spiritual studies. Clarice enjoyed music and was a member of her church choir. She was also a member of the Red Hat Ladies. She retired from the Florida Schoolbook Depository. Clarice loved to volunteer at the Coffee County Regional Hospital, where she was a long-time volunteer, and earned the Presidential Pin for her dedicated service hours. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as she traveled between her homes in Georgia and Florida. Clarice also enjoyed traveling. She went to various locations such as Alaska, Mexico, Maine, The Grand Canyon, and Niagara Falls.
Clarice is survived by her two sons, John Rodney Knight (Debbie) and Michael J. Law (Mary E.); grandchildren, Shawn Knight, Jason Knight, Kodiak Looney, Kayla DeChambeau, and Michael Jesse Law; and great-grandchildren Jackson Knight, Susan DeChambeau, and Asher Looney. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 11:00am at Town and Country Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
