David Richard Philcox, 56, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born February 19, 1958 to Richard and Doris Philcox in Chicago, IL. For years to come, David will always be remembered by titles earned by family and loved ones. He was a Father, a Brother, a Friend, a Partner in Crime, an Enthusiast of heavy music and heavier appetites, a Joker, a Sailor/Veteran, an Aviation Technician, and a Central American Toll Booth Legend. David is survived by one son David M. Philcox, one daughter Christina Ferreira (Zenecia Wells), and two sisters Donna (Steve) Webb, Nancy (Jim) Hubinger. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A visitation will be held in the chapel on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 12:00-2:00pm. A memorial service will begin at 2:00pm in the chapel.
