Dennis was born on February 17, 1955 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to John W. and Donna M. (Eastwood) Polka. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Elisa and Brandon, and his sister Marilyn.
He is remembered for his immensely generous spirit, easy laugh and warm, almost constantly-mustached smile. Whether from the wood shop, the kitchen or the garage, his skills and willingness to share them, were practically limitless. If you knew Dennis, it’s unlikely that he didn’t help you or care about you in some way, at some point. He will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers or donations, please send all positive thoughts and prayers to the Jacksonville Jaguars - they could certainly use them and it would really make Dad happy.
