

Diane Falconetti, 81, of Jacksonville passed peacefully, Monday November 9th, 2020. Diane, or “DD” as she was known to friends and family, was born Diane Drummond, in Jacksonville, Florida in 1939 to John Samuel Drummond and Alberta Canova Drummond. Diane attended Bishop Kenny High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Stetson University. During her college years she was active on Campus and selected for the Orange Bowl Court.
Diane possessed a keen mind for business which served her well as the President at the family printing business her parents founded, The Drummond Press.
Diane worked alongside her husband Robert “Bob” Falconetti who passed in 2013. Bob and Diane met while attending Stetson, and shortly after her graduation, Bob moved from his hometown of Brooklyn, NY to join her in Jacksonville. The Family spent decades together around the boardroom and kitchen tables.
While the family business was a labor of love there was nothing more important to Diane than her two boys, Robert John Falconetti and John Joseph Falconetti. The boys were raised with love and care. She was particularly patient with their diverse activities, and always there for support.
Diane loved long walks on the beach and pithy dinner conversation. She was a warm, graceful heart that allowed others to feel immediately welcomed and at ease. Often found gardening in her yard, she was never far from her beloved dogs and always welcomed the neighborhood stray cat with a warm home and good meal.
She was the proud grandmother, or Nana, to her three grandchildren. DeeDee was a lovingly wife, mother and successful businesswoman. She is survived by her sons Robert and wife Angela and John and wife Shannon. Her three grandchildren Sophia Marie Falconetti, John Rocco Falconetti and Sterling Diane Falconetti.
Arrangements are made by Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, a private graveside service is planned.
