

Donna was born in Jacksonville, Florida on October 6, 1944, to her wonderful parents and grew up on the Southside with her three siblings. She graduated from Englewood High School in 1963 and excelled in art, swimming, diving, and most things she tried. She attended Brigham Young University, married, and had 6 beautiful children. Later, Donna met and married David John Kenna and was a stepmother to his 2 beautiful children, Allyson and Erik.
Donna loved life and entertaining people. She loved to throw a party. She also loved to tell a story and a witty comeback. She made friends wherever she went. Donna did not know a stranger. Donna loved her family and was blessed with this in abundance. Donna was an amazing cook and found joy in catering and hospital cafeteria administration in the 1980s and 1990s. She was passionate about genealogy and excelled in completing her own family history. Donna was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions for the church. She was faithful and stalwart all her life, reveled in the Scriptures, and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Donna is preceded in death by her husband, David John Kenna, her parents James Dale and Pat (King) Walters, her brother, Rick Walters, sister Jimma Walters, nephew Tyler Salters. Donna is survived by her sister, Toni LaBruzza; sister-in-law, Marilyn Walters (Rick); her 6 children, Bradley Todd Wilkinson, Tracey Sparks (Robert), Timothy Scott Wilkinson, Kelly Robinson (Joseph), Keri Lambert (Gavin), Krystal Perry; her 11 grandchildren, Emily Cooper (Stephen), Chelsea Martin (Corey), Brooks Sparks (Dannielle), Tucker Sparks (Bebe Kaing), Jacob Robinson, Gwyneth Keeler (Jaxon), Bailey Sparks, Abigail Lambert, Riley Sparks, Lizzie Perry, Olivia Perry; her 6 great-grandchildren, Colton Cooper, Avalon Martin, Benjamin Martin, JJ Martin, Florence Sparks, and Archer Keeler; her nieces April Hatcher (Marc), Adrienne Giddens (Jim); her nephew, Jason Walters (Bree); and great nieces and nephews, Jordan, Miles (Adriana), Emma, Elsie, Edith, Jay, and Ian. The family wishes to thank the amazing nurses, doctors, medical staff, and volunteers at Community Hospice Center for Caring at Ascension St. Vincent's Southside for their loving care of our mother.
True to her spirit and zest for life, Donna will be laid to rest on April 1, 2026 at 11 am ET with a graveside service at the Chapel Hills Memory Gardens at 850 St Johns Bluff Rd N, Jacksonville, Florida.
