She was born on May 1, 1939, in Albany, Georgia, to the late Agnew McDonald and Mattie Mae Mathis. Dora Belle was a loving sister, mother, and family matriarch who will be remembered for her
devotion to her family. She is survived by her sisters, Pauline Autry (Leon), Alice Lloyd (Johnny), Lois Burnham, and Geraldine Combs; her brothers, Agnew “Buddy” McDonald (Sharon) and Sherry McDonald (Paula); and her sons, Jerry McLaughlin (Lori) and Michael Jones.
She was preceded in death by her son, Nathan McLaughlin (Philip), and her daughter, Patty Smith.
