Douglas Lee King Jr., December 24,1931~June 23,2012, Son of Douglas Lee King Sr. ad Gertrude Louise Painter King. He was born in Rockingham County, N.C. and Lived in Jacksonville, FL. He served a short term in the Army then returned home to a Career as a Commercial Contractor. He was in Business for 50 years. He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with his grandkids. He was a generous and honest man. He is survived by his wife Eula R. King of 42 years, son and daughter in law, Darrell and Susan King, daughter and son in law, Tommy and Christy McCray, sons Gary King and Eric King, 6 Grandkids Chris, Heather, Cody, Haley, Macayla and Kaitlyn and 3 Great Grandkids, Derreck, Hayden and Mason. Visitation and Services will be held at Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jax., Fl. 32205. Viewing will begin at 9:30am until 11:00. Chapel Service to begin at 11:00am directly followed by graveside service.
