Davis, Early M. Davis, Jr.“ Bud”, 79, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on August 25, 2011. Bud is preceded in death by his parents Early and Lucille M. Davis, Sr. He is survived by his wife Dorothy of 58 years. Bud is survived by his sons; Donnie Davis (Jeannie) and Bruce Davis (Jennifer), Sister Barbara Francis (Ronald). Grandchildren; Brian Davis and Christie Menciano (Mike); Great-Grandchild Sawyer Menciano and numerous friends. Bud proudly served the United States Air Force and retired from the Jacksonville Shipyard after 40 years of service. Bud owned his own business “Bud Davis Auto” for 35 years. Bud was a member of the Bud Davis and The Tunesters Band. Bud will be remembered for his love of family, music, friends, and stock car racing.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32205. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 28, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 29, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
