Edsol Junior Davis, 80, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on August 1, 2016. Ed was born in Georgia on February 9, 1936. Ed was married to Evelyn Evans on November 16, 1957; they were married 58 years. Ed worked as a diesel mechanic for 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn; 3 children, Bruce, Mike (Sharon), Kathy (Marty); 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Bill; and many other loving family members and friends. The visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 6-8pm at Hardage-Giddens, Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral service will be held at 10am, Saturday, August 6, 2016 with Hardage-Giddens; with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
