Elaine M. Knaack

Memorial Service for Elaine Mitchell Knaack, 81, will be held Saturday, December 3rd, 2011 at 11am. St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 6801 Merrill Road, Jacksonville, FL with Pastor Mark Winkler, Pastor David Imhoff and Pastor John Hugus officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in Syracuse, New York.

Elaine was born December 9, 1929 in Syracuse, New York. She was requested by our Lord to be an Angel in His court on October 23, 2011 surrounded by her loving family.

Elaine was predeceased by her mother, Ivy Huth Mitchell, her father Hugh B. Mitchell and her brother Hugh Richard Mitchell. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 1/2 years, Robert Knaack, a daughter Michelle Knaack and a son Eric. She has one grandson and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and two great, great nephews William and Samuel.

Elaine will be remembered as a very loving wife and mother, and a wonderful friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials in Elaine's name be made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church or to Haven Hospice, 8301 Cypress Plaza Drive, Suite 119, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
