Ellen M. King, 94, passed away on December 28, 2016 in Orange Park, FL. She was born July 1, 1922 to John and Clara Mish in Harrisburg, PA. Ellen served in the United States Navy where she met the love of her life William King. They have been married for 70 years. She is survived by her two sons, Robert King and Dennis King, one daughter Colleen (Tom) Taylor and two grandchildren Kevin (Kelly) Taylor and Lesley (Jett) Taylor. A visitation for family and friends will be held in the chapel of Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 10am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1415 McDuff Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Burial will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32215 on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 12:30 pm.
