Ellis M. Foor

MCK Ellis M. Foor, 77, Passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 24th, 2015 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born on May 9, 1937 in Bedford, Pa to Ellis and Helen Foor. He was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church. Ellis served in the Military for 32 years, both in the U.S. Navy and retiring from the Coast Guard as Chief Machinery Technician. He was also a retired Truck Driver, retiring from Heartland Transportation. He loved doing yard work,watching westerns and most of all family time. Ellis was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Jacqueline. He is survived by his children, Debbie Padgett (Scott), Ellis Foor (Lisa Crosby), Gilbert Foor and Patricia Samuels (Eric), One brother, four sisters, 8 grandchildren Sean Hargrove (Allie), Ashley Faulkner (Chris), Eric Samuels Jr., Brittany Foor (Brian), Derek Hargrove (Vera), Natalie Foor, Rebecca Randolph and Brandon Foor, 3 great-grandchildren Hunter & Alexis Faulkner and Jeremiah Hargrove. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 28th, from 6-8pm in the chapel of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd.,Jacksonville, FL. Funeral services to be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 10am at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 1773 Blanding Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32210 with interment to be held at 1pm at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32218
