

Ernesto Dizon Arceo, age 87, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022. Ernesto was born October 27, 1934 in Capas Tarlac, Philippines to Tereso Arceo and Felisa Dizon Arceo. Ernesto proudly and honorably served in the United States Navy for 28 years, and retired as a Master Chief, DKCM. He also served in the Vietnam War. He was married to his loving and faithful wife, Concordia Yumul Arceo. He obtained a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Accounting, and also worked in real estate as a real estate broker for 40 years. Ernesto enjoyed fishing, shrimping, crabbing, and gardening. He was one of the founding members of Christ Cares Alliance church, and had a strong Christian faith.
Ernesto is preceded in death by his parents, Tereso and Felisa Arceo; sisters Gloria Ibe and Ligaya Manali; and one granddaughter, Anastasia Arceo. He is survived by his loving and faithful wife, Concordia Arceo; daughter, Lyn Arceo-Diaz; son, Ernesto Y. Arceo, Jr.; grandchildren Joseph Diaz, Christina DeLeo, Brandon Diaz, Jeremiah Arceo, Daniel Arceo, Felicia Arceo, and Max Arceo; and one great-granddaughter, Mila DeLeo.
A visitation for Ernesto will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Christ Cares Alliance Church, 1620 St. John's Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the church. A committal service with military honors will follow the church service on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, 850 St. John's Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225.
