Estelle Lucille Jerkins

Estelle Jerkins went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 30, 2022. She was born in Wellborn, FL to Perry Stansel and Ola Coats Stansel. She married Hinton Vann on April 4, 1942 and he preceded her in death on September 10, 1960. She later married Daniel Reid Jerkins on August 5, 1967; he preceded her in death December 28, 2005. She is survived by son, Ricky Vann [Brenda] and daughter, Jeanette Mathews [Calvin]. Her sons Ronnie Vann [Pat] and David Vann [Shelby] preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Minnie Stansel, Ruby Ammons [Hubert] and brother, Henry C. “Buddy” Stansel.

God blessed her with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren that she loved and cherished.

Estelle enjoyed cooking for her family, gardening, sewing and making some very unusual crafts for us. She also enjoyed traveling and was blessed and thankful that she was able to make a trip to The Holy Land.

As a member of Jones Road Baptist Church, she attended faithfully for more than 50 years until her health failed her. Estelle was employed at Swisher International for many years.

A visitation for Estelle will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, 16292 45th Road, Wellborn, FL 32094.
