Sunday August 14'th at 12:55 am at the age of 71 Heavenly Father had sent his Angels to receive the beautiful soul of Ethel Mae Auten Cornell. She truly is being celebrated there and will always be remembered for all the good that she has done here. Also this day the 14'th she is remembered for it is her birthday. Love you always!!!
Ethel was born on August 14, 1940 to Robert James Auten, Sr. and Emma Pearl Forsyth in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.
She is preceded by her parents, Robert James and Emma Pearl Auten and brother Robert James Auten Jr.
Ethel is survived by her husband Charles Warren Cornell, Sr. of 56 years, sister Doris Messersmith (William), 6 children, nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her love of family and life.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home. 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, Fl 32205. Visitation will be held on Friday, August, 19, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints Chapel on 798 N.
