Evelyn (Jackie) Fraser Chesser passed away peacefully on August 6, 2014 at age 91. Born in Bryceville, FL to William Wallace and Sallie Fraser on February 28, 1923. Survivors include her three sons, Terry (Mary Ellen) Chesser, Victor (Norma) Chesser and Mark (Cheryl) Chesser; sisters, Sadie King, Joy Edmonds; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She served as supervisor in the Jacksonville City Circuit Court for over 15 years with great distinction. Also a long time member of Dinsmore Baptist Church. Family and friends will gather for viewing at 10 AM on Monday, August 11 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville FL. 32205. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11 AM with Rev. Winston Butler officiating. The family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Community Hospice Northeast Florida in lieu of flowers.
