

Fatima Conejero Chambers, 61, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 27, 2019 at McGraw Hospice Center. She was born on May 13, 1958 to Jose and Teresita Conejero in the Philippines.
Fatima was a wonderful mother and wife. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for her three children Christine, Christopher, Camille and her husband Brian. Raising them was the number one priority in her life. She was a supportive, caring and loving mother. She was an amazing grandmother to her one and only grandchild Christian. Fatima was also very close to her 9 brothers and sisters. She was the “glue” that held the family together.
Fatima was a former employee at Borland-Groover Clinic for over 18 years. She was trained in every position at BGC and she went where ever she was needed. She loved her job and the people she worked with. Her fellow employees loved her outgoing personality and it rubbed off on many of them. Hard working, dedication and reliability are core traits that she believed to instill into her kids. “Fatima was one of those people that when faced with one of life’s biggest challenges, she kept a smile on her face and a positive attitude. Fatima loved people and her day would be complete when she made a new friend. Her personality was so bubbly that it only took one encounter to make a friend for life. She had an outgoing personality and a beautiful smile that made a lasting impact on each person she met. The vastness of the friends she has made travels across continents and countries around the world.
Fatima led a full and energetic life. She was a devout Catholic and her faith was an important part of her life. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Jacksonville. She was a member of the choir at Holy Spirit’s Church and the Zumba community. She loved dancing, singing, and traveling around the world. Fatima traveled extensively with her loving husband Brian. They visited many places such as Hawaii, Philippines and the Caribbean.
Visiting hours will be held at the Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, Florida on Tuesday, January 7 from 5-8 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 11665 Fort Caroline Rd. Jacksonville, FL on Wednesday, January 8 at 11 a.m. Burial to follow in Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32218. After burial, Celebration of Life will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church Family Life Center, 11665 Fort Caroline Rd. Jacksonville, FL
