

Fay was a beautiful woman, who loved her husband and family, Florida State, Gator’s Sweet Tea, and watching TV with the sound off. She was a kind, sweet lady with a beautiful smile. She was an avid sports fan, rarely missing a game. She and her husband were members of the Fouraker Baptist Church. She was a native of Coffee County, GA; but had lived and worked in Jacksonville all of her adult life. She retired from the family business, Anchor Amusement in Jacksonville.
She will be greatly missed, and forever in all of our hearts.
Fay is survived by her daughter Patti Hutto (Billy) of Clarks Hill, SC; step-son Walter (Debbie) Crum Jr. of Macclenny, Florida; cousin Nell Smith of Douglas, Georgia; brother Wayne Steptoe (Ellen) of Waycross, GA; sister-in-Law Bonnie Steptoe of Irmo, SC; grandson Roger Curtis (RC2) Crum Jr. of Macclenny, FL; granddaughters Celeste Moody of Chesapeake, VA, Brittney Moskos (Rocky) of Greenville, SC, Kayla Smith of Greenville, SC; Daughters-in-love Lisa Robbins of Jax, FL, Tracie Bautista (Ray) of Orange Park, FL, Vera Rode of Jax, FL, Chris Nicholas (Rusty) of Jax, FL; great-granddaughters Elizabeth “Lizzie” Moody, Suzanna “Suzy” Moody, Maria Brooks, Amyah Brooks, River Moskos, Haley Taylor; great-grandsons Brennen Taylor, Rocky Moskos, Gaitlin Smith, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Fay is predeceased by her husband, the love of her life Charles (Charlie) W. Crum Sr.; mother Maebell Garnto Steptoe; father G.R. (Boe) Steptoe; brothers Fred Steptoe, Walter Steptoe; sister Bobbie Jean Daigrepont (Gene); beloved stepson Roger (RC) Crum Sr.; grandson Nicholas G. Hutto; and nephew David W. Steptoe.
The graveside service in Sopchoppy, Florida will be officiated by Reverend Ody Witt on Saturday, January 6th, 2024 at noon at Sanders Cemetery, Sanders Cemetery Road, Sopchoppy, FL 32358.
