She was a Master Seamstress in the Philippines, when she met her husband, Gerard Martin. As a Navy wife she enjoyed spending her free time working at the Commissary chatting with all the other Navy wives.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jacquiline Featheringill (Rex) and Araceli Thompson (Tim); grandson, Robert Warren; granddaughter, Louise Leggitt (James).
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerard “Jerry” Martin.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205 with Father Pradeep Aerthayil of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be at 12:30 PM, Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32218.
