Ferdinand was born in Zambales on July 7, 1967, to Marcelo Sr. and Juliana. He was fondly called “Ferdy” or “Peddeg” by family and friends. In his pastime, he loved to go fishing. He loved cooking for his family. For his friends and family, he loved to play the saxophone and guitar. He had a penchant for singing Ilocano songs to those around him. Ferdy was a devoted father who cherished his children deeply. He became a devout Christian before passing on and joined the praise and worship group at his church. He will be missed deeply by his family, friends, and those whose lives he touched.
Ferdinand is survived by his wife, Mary Karen; his children, Kevin, Ken, Florianne, and Julian; his grandchildren Kimberly and Bradley; and his siblings, Perlita, Conchita, Melda, Aurelia, Tomas, Ruben, Zaida, and Marcelo Jr; and his loving nieces and nephews.
