Frances Hilda Joyner

Frances Hilda Joyner, 82, passed away July 15, 2022 and was a lifetime member of the Westside Church of God of Prophecy on Fouraker Road. She loved working with the youth, having plays and skits, playing piano, as well as decorating for the fellowship events.

At a young age, Hilda, along with her 2 sisters, Lonia and Laverne, and mother and dad, would sing in a weekly radio show at WAYX Radio Station in Waycross, Ga. She enjoyed being in the Bowling League and Softball leagues. She was the bookkeeper and parts runner for the family business for over 50 years and retired.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Benny H. Joyner; her three children, Lynn Joyner of Waycross, Ga. and Benny H. Joyner, Jr., also of Waycross, Ga. and Veletia D. DuPree of Jacksonville, FL; One Sister, Lonia J. Bradshaw of Jacksonville, FL; 8 Grandchildren, 20 Great-Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

There will be a Graveside Service, at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home located at 7242 Normandy Boulevard Jacksonville, FL.

Officiating will be the Reverend Dale Hile.

There will be an early lunch in the fellowship hall at Westside Church of God of Prophecy,

1862 Fouraker Road, Jacksonville FL.
