Gayle Elizabeth Babcock

Gayle was born in Jacksonville, Florida on January 28, 1946 to Clarence O. Babcock (Bill) and Marguerite Babcock. Gayle lived in Avondale most of her life, with the exception of a few years in Miami. Her father's job with Painter's Poultry took them to Miami Shores where they enjoyed everything in Miami. After her father passed away, Gayle and her mother returned to Jacksonville to be closer to family. Gayle was loved dearly and enjoyed music, people and dancing! She was a kind and loving person. The staff at St. Catherine's loved and cared for Gayle for many years! We are grateful for the wonderful care they provided. Hospice also did a wonderful job caring for Gayle. We sincerely appreciate the love, care and support they gave to Gayle and our family.

A visitation for Gayle will be held Friday, July 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Friday, July 8, 2022 at 12:00 PM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A graveside service will occur Friday, July 8, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
