Gregory Leon Stephens

Gregory Leon Stephens “Greg”, age 63 of Bryceville, FL passed away at his home on November 20, 2024 surrounded by his family. Greg was born August 1, 1961. He graduated from Paxon Senior High School and was employed at WW Gay as Foreman Pipe Fitter.

Greg’s love for his animals was tremendous. He treated them as if they were children. He loved to sit in his truck and listen to his music, loved football “Gators and Jaguars” and going to the beach.

Greg is preceded in death by his father, Clayton Stephens; mother, Mary Frances Stephens of Jacksonville, FL and brother, Donnie Stephens.

He leaves behind his sister, Scarlett Chauncy; nieces, Stephanie Crutcher and Wendy Stephens; nephews, Donald J. Stephens and Jeffrey Stephens; great-nephews, Lil Jeff Stephens and Bryce Cox; sister-in-law, Cindy Stephens; significant other and caregiver, Kim Rowe and friend and caregiver, Doris Boyd.

The family will accept friends for a visitation for Gregory on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A committal service will occur Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Hardage- Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
