Homer Walter Staley passed away in Jacksonville on June 2, 2015 at the age of 84. He is survived by his loving wife Hazel of 61 years. Homer is predeceased by his parents, Russell and Cena Staley, and siblings; Dacy, Mae, Edith, Ruby and Lonnie. Homer is lovingly remembered by his wife Hazel, daughters; Connie (Rick), Susan (Jeffrey), grandchildren; Jason and Jessica Clark, sisters; Ann, Judy, and Macy. Homer was born on January 2, 1931, in Catawba, NC. He was a loving husband, father, and granddaddy.
