I received a call today advising me that Bobby had passed. My heart and prayers goes out to you Eleanor,Toni and family. May God give you all the strength you will need to move forward.

Uncle Bobby, I will always carry you in my heart. You were my mother's (Cynthia) best friend. You loved us all. Rest in Peace Uncle Bobby.

Uncle Bobby, you have been my life time uncle. "My father's(Hodges) best friend". I will forever cherish the memories you and my dad left upon me. Rest in Peace Uncle Bobby. Until we all meet again in Heaven. I love you "my life time Uncle".

My life-time friend "BOBBY" I have always loved and cherished the friendship we shared.
You will forever remain in my heart and thoughts.  Rest in peace my friend until we meet again...I know a "Big Holy Reunion" took place when you reached the arms of God.

Lord knows I'm going to miss you. You were more like a father than just a God father to me. I'm going to miss you so much cant stop the tears but you are no longer in pain. You will forever be in my heart. Love you always.

I will miss that smile that could light up any room!

In loving memory of Uncle Bobby, you will be truly missed.  I have so many, many fond memories of you and me (when I was much younger). I will never forget those scorching, hot summer days in 5020; how you would stop by to see my grandma (your sister). While there - you would always shout out to me: Den-Den, come on let's take a ride to get your favorite treat (Unc- those cold cherry ices was right on time). Ha- ha- ha! And you would always let me fill it up in the largest cup then we would stop to Jenkins bbq (you would purchase bags of chicken & ribs) and head back to my grandma's or some visits you would be standing over grandma's stove blessing us with your one- of -kind recipients(um um good). It was always wonderful to see and hear you entering her door, you're the only one had that distinctive baritone loud voice that could speak and reach volumes if needed to (Lol).  I love you- Unc, and btw: please give your sister a big hug FOR me (she was the best grandma). Meanwhile, I will be putting a tat of your name on me-- right next to her name. Did you know- you two looked as if you could be twins (you looked so much alike). You were definitely a man of Great Statue who truly loved his entire family. You are at rest now with your parents and siblings (what a wonderful reunion). I know they're all rejoicing (yaaaaaaay). God bless.

To the only wise God, there was a phone call that was made and the call was answered. To the Delifus Family, Uncle Bobby was a man who stood tall and stood strong on his beliefs. A man, who was not only an Uncle, but a brother, a friend, and a husband. A wise man who gave sound advice to me when I was going through my storm in life. I am grateful that you took the time to share your experience and wisdom with me.
