Irma Christine Maddox (Chris), 81, of Jacksonville, FL was called home to be with ‘The Lord’ on February 5, 2015. Maddox was surrounded and adored by her loving family at the time of her calling. Born 1933 in Craven County, North Carolina, Mrs. Maddox spent the remainder of her days in Jacksonville. All who knew her will remember her kind-heart, selflessness, and her loving and caring nature. Chris was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Maddox, her Mother and Father Reverend J.B. Lee and Jamie Moore Lee, and her brother James Lee, who went to be with the Lord on the same day. She is survived by her loving children: Bud Hines, Lou Williams, Ron Davis, John Smith, James Smith, Missy Vassilakis, Bobby Maddox, Lisa Maddox and Rusty Maddox, 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends Saturday, February 7, 2015, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205.
