Jacqueline McDuffie, 88, died July 20, 2020 in Jacksonville, FL. Jackie completed high school and worked as a secretary until her marriage to George McDuffie on July 19, 1950. She was full time homemaker taking great pride in her home and was known as an immaculate or “prissy” housekeeper. Her personal interests included reading, gardening, bird watching, surf fishing and walking. Jackie had a life that was well lived. She was happily married, a devoted wife and mother who loved God and her family.
Jackie was predeceased by her husband George McDuffie, her parents Joe and Nora Johnson, sisters Laverne Maddox and Dorothy Hunt. Jackie is survived by her daughter Sandra Dupont (Douglas); son-in-law Douglas Dupont; nephew Cecil Wayne Tanner; niece Patricia Davis and Nephew Joe Maddox.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 9:15 a.m. at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Family will receive friends prior to the graveside service starting at 9:00 a.m.
