James Walter Culpepper

James “Walter” Culpepper, age 68, of Jacksonville, FL passed away November 7, 2022. He was born on September 27, 1954 to Walter Culpepper, Jr. and Nancy Merle Culpepper. He graduated high school and attend a few college classes for floral arranging. He married Judith Ann Reese on May 5, 1979. Walter was in route sales and a delivery driver for many years.

He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, floral arranging and loved going to the Florida Gator football games and parades. The Springs Church of Orange Park was the church that he attended and where he enjoyed singing.

Walter is survived by wife, Judy Culpepper; sons, James Culpepper and Ben Culpepper (Brittany); sister, Nancy Saffold; brother-in-law, Larry Stanczyk; grandsons, Ben Culpepper, Jr., Jack Culpepper, Joshua Culpepper and Thomas James Culpepper; granddaughter, Annabelle Culpepper; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Preceded in death by his father, Walter Culpepper, Jr.; mother, Nancy Merle Culpepper; sister, Elizabeth Johnson Stanczyk; and brother-in-law, Jimmy Saffold.

A visitation for James will be held Monday, November 14, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Monday, November 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A graveside service will occur Monday, November 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
