Janet Sineath

Virginia Janet Sineath, age 95, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on April 10, 2023. She was born in Patterson, GA on February 11, 1928 to Joseph Walter Gill and Alice McBee. She married William Gene Sineath on June 6, 1947 after graduating from Jackson High School.

She work as a secretary for a plumbing company for many years. She was a member of First Coast Baptist Church where she was a Victory Class Member and a member of “Single Sisters” organization at the Church.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Sandra Dobbs; son, William “Bill” Sineath, Jr. (Belinda) and sister, Louise Mikell; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Walter Gill and Alice McBee Evans; husband, William G. Sineath, Sr. and son, Robert “Bobby” Jack Sineath.

A visitation for Janet will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at First Coast Baptist Church, 7587 Blanding Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32244. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM, 7587 Blanding Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32244. A committal service will occur Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 12:30 PM at Rest Lawn Cemetery, 2600 Ribault Scenic Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32208.
