

Jean E. Haines, born in Williamsport Pennsylvania, on March 22, 1933, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering faith.
Jean was the beloved wife of Marvin Haines, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories and deep devotion. She was a proud and loving mother to Kent, Kim, Scott and Richard, and a guiding light in their lives. As a big sister to Tom, Dick, and Charlie, Jean carried her warmth and sense of humor into every family bond she held dear.
She was a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother, bringing joy, wisdom, and playful energy to each generation. Her family will forever remember her as the heart of their gatherings—quick with a joke, full of wit, and always ready with a smile.
Jean was a devoted member of her church, where her uplifting spirit and strong faith touched countless lives. She had a gift for making others feel welcome and valued, and she formed friendships wherever she went. Her energy was infectious, her laughter unforgettable, and her presence truly a pleasure to be around.
To know Jean was to be uplifted by her kindness and inspired by her zest for life. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her spirit will live on in the many lives she touched.

A private committal service will be held for Jean at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
