Jeanna Boyd Googe

Jeanna Lynn Boyd Googe, age 66, passed away on October 5, 2022. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on May 12, 1956 to Lowell Boyd, Sr. and Bobbie Green Boyd. She attended Nathan Bedford Forrest Senior High School before marrying John Grant Googe on September 14, 1985.

Jeanna had worked for H & R Block as a tax special, worked as a data entry clerk and Suddath Logistics in shipping and receiving. She enjoyed macramé, pottery, playing Scrabble, motorcycle riding, reading her bible, listening to gospel music, the Family Feud television program and playing with her dogs.

Jeanna is survived by her husband of 37 years John Grant Googe; son Jason Neil Bennett; brother Lowell Boyd, Jr. (Tina); niece Elisabeth Boyd Roberts; nephews Jared Boyd Thomas Jaye Boyd, Cassidy Warren Boyd and James B. Summey.

Preceded in death by her father Lowell Boyd, Sr.; mother Bobbie Green Boyd; father-in-law Everett Luke and sister Estelle Lorraine Rivers (Thomas).

A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 followed by a memorial Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
