She was born on July, 28, 1939 to Mr. & Mrs. John Zahorik in Alma, WI and graduated from high school in Galesville, WI in 1957 along with her husband, Larry, to whom she was married for 57 years.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; two daughters, Lisa (Rick) Higgins and Kristin Smith (Tony Ramscar, fiancé); four grandchildren, Tyler Kelly, Hunter Kelly, Hannah Kelly, Jackson Smith and two step-grandchildren , Josh and Livie Ramscar, and one brother, Tom (Sheila) Zahorik, Eau Claire, WI.
Mrs. Zenke taught for forty years in elementary schools in Minnesota, Illinois, Oklahoma, and Florida. She retired as a kindergarten teacher in 2006 from Sabal Palm Elementary School where she taught for 16 years, and where she was blessed with the opportunity to teach all four of her grandchildren in kindergarten.
