

Jobel Miclat Quilon of Jacksonville, FL passed away at the age of 59, during the early morning of June 29, 2024. Born on April 4th, 1965 to Johnson Asuelo Quilon & Belen Abille Miclat in Santa Cruz, Zambales, Philippines, he was one of three siblings. He is survived by his brothers Jerry & Jun Jun, and sister-in-law Claire, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, & nephews.
After graduating from Sandalwood High School, he briefly served in the United States Navy and was stationed at San Diego, California. After a brief stint in the Navy, he temporarily moved back to Jacksonville Florida & eventually settled in St. Augustine, Florida where he began working in the food industry business, working his way up to Assistant General Manager at A1A Aleworks Restaurant. He leaves behind many friends and coworkers whose lives he touched and impacted, being a staple of the establishment for over twenty plus years. During his spare time, he loved watching sports, old western movies and tv shows, and cooking. He was an old soul, loved making people laugh and never missed a chance to ridicule and poke fun of those close to him. He will be sorely missed by everyone he came into contact with, and we will always cherish and carry his memory in our hearts.
It was his wish that his remains be cremated along with a private family memorial taking place at a future date at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Memory Gardens at 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd North Jacksonville, Fl 32225.
