John Wayne McDaniel, 70, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on March 31, 2015. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, April 3rd, 2015 at Town & Country Funeral Home. Tim McDaniel will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Town & County Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park cemetery at 11:00 am. John was born in Freeport, Texas on May 13, 1944. He graduated from Lee High School and served 4 years in the Air Force. John was married to Peggy on August 10th, 1963; they were married for 50 years. John worked as a supervisor for UPS and retired after 28 years. John is survived by his wife Peggy, 5 grandchildren; Taylor, Trey, Kyle, Nick, Amanda, sister Jeanne Lee (Denny Lee), 2 sons; John (Debby), Tony (Angie), nieces and nephews, and other family and friends. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home.
