He married Marialvisa Papa on December 30, 1964. Joselilo received a Degree from University of Santo Tomas, Manilla, Philippines, in Architecture. He worked over the years at Jax Liquors and the City of Jacksonville.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marialvisa Papa; sons, Josemavi Papa (Kelly), Ferdinand Papa (Tammy); and Anthony Papa (Kelly); also nine grandchildren, Darcy, Hannah, Jacob, Hailee, Isabella, Lulce, Olivia, Meredith and Joaquin.
Preceded in death by this parents, Pablito and Adela Papa; and his brother, Isagani Papa.
A Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Friday, February 23, 2024, at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 8523 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32221. Afterwards a funeral mass for Joselito will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Following the funeral mass will be a committal service at 11:00 AM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
