JC was a World War II Army Veteran who moved to Jacksonville in 1976 and has remained an active member of University Baptist Church. He celebrated 60 years of marriage to his wife, Lucille, prior to her death in 2008. Preceded in death by his son Ron, who passed away in 2005, he leaves behind his daughter Susan (Daryl) and daughter-in-law Miriam; grandchildren Josh (Lora), Alana, Amanda, and Heather; and great-grandchildren Thain, Aiden, and Zane.
Family will receive friends at 10am Monday, June 24th prior to the funerall service at 11am at University Baptist Church, 5520 University Blvd S. Interment will follow in Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd. N. Pastor Leon Myers will be officiating.
